Yesterday, Bertagnolli won the men's vision-impaired category - and repeated the feat on day two.

After his two runs, he finished in a time of 1min, 32.25sec, well clear of France's Hyacinthe Deleplace, 9.5sec behind.

Australia's Patrick Jensen, who also finished third yesterday, rounded out the podium again.

The men's standing event followed exactly the same podium as day one, with Finland's Santeri Kiiveri taking gold in 1:39.84.

Silver went to Austria's Nico Pajantschitsch a further 1.82 back, with Russia's Alexander Alyabyev third.

Norway's Jesper Pedersen took out the sitting discipline again, in a time of 1:31.98, with Jeroen Kampschreur in second, just 0.83 behind.

Rounding out the podium was Takeshi Suzuki of Japan.

The women's sitting competition saw a changing of the guard, with Germany's Anna-Lena Forster taking gold ahead of Wenjing Zhang of China by over seven seconds

Yesterday's winner, Sitong Liu, finished third.

China's Mengqui Zhang doubled her Italian victory count, winning the standing competition in a total time of 1:47.46.

In exactly the same podium finish as yesterday, German Anna-Maria Rieder came third, with Russia's Varvara Voronchikhina third.

The pattern continued in vision impaired, as Austria's Veronika Aigner cruised home nearly 12 seconds ahead of Great Britain's Menna Fitzpatrick, with Noemi Ewa Ristau of Germany in bronze.

Slalom competition concludes tomorrow with a third set of races.
