The Ludwig Guttmann Paraplegic Sports Foundation (LGPSF) is partnering with the International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation to offer grants to help any individual or organisation associated with wheelchair sports.

LGPSF – which has been working to continue the legacy of the father of the Paralympic Movement Sir Ludwig Guttmann since 1982 – is offering funding to any individual or organisation associated with wheelchair sports.

In the past, the programme has awarded money to projects ranging from classification and training to literature that promotes participation and athlete development on the international stage.

The new round of grants is expected to assist a similarly wide range of activities.

Applicants are required to complete the application form by April 1 for consideration the following summer.

An outline proposal, projected outcomes and an itemised budget must also be submitted.

A maximum of £750 ($1,000/€900) is up for grabs for successful applications. 

In return, the LGPSF asks to receive a small report and photos of the activities.
