The Netherlands' Kiran Badloe holds a 10-point lead in the men's event going into tomorrow's medal race at the RS:X World Championships in Sorrento in Australia.

The defending champion registered fourth, 13th and third-place finishes at the Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club today.

After the 13th-place finish was discarded Badloe ended the day on a net score of 27 points.

Double Olympic champion Dorian van Rijsselberghe, also of The Netherlands, is second on 37 points after posting scores of 14, first and second today.

Israel’s Shahar Zubari is third with 50 points.

In the women's event, The Netherlands' Lilian de Geus and Israel's Noy Drihan both sit on 34 points in first and second place, respectively.

Today saw De Geus register scores of seven, which was discarded, along with a six and a one.

Drihan, meanwhile, posted 24, which was discarded, along with a two and a nine.

Reigning Olympic champion Charline Picon of France is up to third place with 47 points.

A total of 10 sailors will compete in each of the men's and women's medal races.
