The International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Diamond Cup Malta has been rescheduled from April to August 2020.
Competition was originally set to take place at Oracle Conference Centre in northern Malta from April 11 to 13.
With the event postponed due to the ongoing pandemic, it has now been rescheduled to August 29 and 30.
Malta Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness President Ralph Decelis is still set to be in attendance.
The Diamond Cup Malta is a prestigious competition that includes ranking qualifier events and elite pro competitions in the men’s bodybuilding open, wellness and bodyfitness divisions.
IFBB events in March and April have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, which has now infected more than 1.2 million people and killed more than 70,000.
The governing body has urged athletes to continue checking the IFBB website for updates on events.
