This year's edition of the Asian Beach Games is scheduled to run from November 28 to December 5, with teqball set to make its debut at a major multi-sports event. 

FITEQ wants to leave a legacy in Asia following the Beach Games and created the educational programme to do so. 

It will aim to provide the foundations for the development of teqball and empower the next generation of players and coaches.

FITEQ says project manager and two coaches will be appointed in each country, with all personnel set to be specially trained by sport's governing body to ensure they have the tools to deliver the programme.

FITEQ will also provide the opportunity for five other prospective teqball coaches to be educated and accredited without charge.

Once travelling restrictions caused by the ongoing pandemic have been lifted, a high-level professional teqball coach will visit participating nations to assist with the programme delivery.

Following last year's decision to include teqball at Sanya 2020, FITEQ created a development fund to help countries prepare. 

Every National Olympic Committee in Asia was given a grant of €6,000 (£5,000/£7,000) and provided with a free table. 

Teqball was added to the Asian Beach Games programme with karate and Muay Thai.
