channel 4_murderball_14-10-11October 15 - Channel 4 have released an online wheelchair rugby game known as "Murderball", giving players the opportunity to play with the likes of British stars Mandip Sehmi and Steve Palmer against the world's best teams.

Workplaces will not be thanking the official broadcaster of the London 2012 Paralympic Games for the release of the game, which, though it takes a few minutes to get used to, is a fun and quick way to take a break from the daily grind.

Players can choose who they play as and who they will face, and then can select four players from a squad, as well as making crucial strategic decisions.

Channel 4 have introduced a real tactical edge too, requiring users to select a well balanced team with speed, tackling, throwing, strength and fitness.

Players also tire as the game goes on, giving the user a fun tool with which to become a fan of and learn more about wheelchair rugby ahead of next year's London 2012 Paralympic Games.

The US, reigning champions, and Asia/Oceania champions Australia will be the favourites ahead of next year's Paralympics, and will face tough competition from the likes of hosts Britain, Japan and European champions Sweden.
