The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board accepted a change in nationality for surfer Camilla Kemp and triathlete Félix-Pierre Duchampt. 

Kemp has made the switch from representing Portugal to Germany. 

The 24-year-old has been competing in the World Surf League women's qualifying series since 2012, and is ranked 58th in this year's competition. 

Duchampt changed from French nationality to Romanian. 

The 31-year-old is 39th in the International Triathlon Union world ranking.

His last victory came at the Triathlon Pan American Cup in Havana in February. 

The Executive Board granted the requested exemption to the three-year waiting period following approval by the respective International Federations and National Olympic Committees.

The changes in nationality were accepted by the IOC Executive Board during its meeting yesterday, held by videoconference due to the coronavirus pandemic.
