Set to be held on November 6, the conference will focus on preparation for the Summer Olympic Games, the development of Olympic ideas and the Olympic Movement, the importance of sport during the pandemic, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. 

Coaches, managers, students, scientists and others working in the sporting world have been invited to the conference. 

Topics are set to include the system of training high-level athletes in Olympic sports, anti-doping support and psychological training.

Paralympic sport and the history of Olympism will also be discussed. 

The conference will be held online due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier in the global health crisis, the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan briefed the country's leadership on how its athletes were coping during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Coaches and trainers guided the athletes by communicating online.
