Halvor Egner Granerud topped qualifying for the third leg of the Four Hills Tournament in Innsbruck in Austria.

The Norwegian, who leads both the Four Hills Tournament and Ski Jumping World Cup standings, jumped 129 metres to finish on 132.2 points.

Home favourite Daniel Huber was in second after a 127.5m jump gave him 128.9, while Poland's Dawid Kubacki managed an attempt of 128m to earn 128.7 and place third.

"It's been the first time ever that I've managed to perform well here," Granerud said.

"My best result here previously was the 20th place, I've also got some disqualifications and did not qualify for the final round, so I'm really happy about today."
