The Executive Committee places will be filled in elections at the EHF Congress in Luxembourg on April 23 and 24.

Candidates have been announced following the end of the nomination period on January 23 and the completion of subsequent checks. 

Austria's Michael Wiederer is set to run for the role of EHF President unopposed, having already served one term in the role. 

The current vice-president Predrag Boskovic of Montenegro, is set to be challenged by Tjark de Lange of The Netherlands. 

Denmark's Henrik La Cour will contest a second term as finances vice-president unopposed. 

Bozidar Djurkovic of Serbia is to run for another term as EHF Competitions Commission chair but will be rivalled by Thierry Wagner of Luxembourg.

Jerzy Eliasz of Poland is to step down as Methods Commission chair, with Pedro Sequeira the only candidate up to replace him. 

Gabriella Horvath of Hungary and Marek Goralczyk of Poland will be challenging for the role of Beach Handball Commission chair as Ole R. Jorstad of Norway comes to the end of his term. 

Twelve candidates have been nominated for the three remaining places on the Executive Committee. 

The Executive Committee is completed by the representatives of the Professional Handball Board, the Women’s Handball Board and the Nations Board.

All three will be nominated once these three boards are constituted following the EHF Congress.

A full list of nominations for all positions will be released on February 23.
