SQUASHTV, the Professional Squash Association's (PSA) over-the-top broadcasting platform, has been made available to fans in Europe following the expiry of an agreement with Eurosport.

The SQUASHTV platform had only been accessible to those outside of Europe between 2016 and 2020 because of the deal with the Eurosport Player.

In a statement, the PSA said SQUASHTV "will be the only place in Europe, including UK and Ireland, to watch all of the glass court action live from major PSA World Tour events".

The AJ Bell England Squash Championships in Manchester, which began today, is the first event to be shown to European fans following the end of the Eurosport deal.

"We have made a number of improvements to our service over the past decade and look forward to welcoming back our fans from across Europe,” said PSA chief executive Alex Gough.

"Despite the challenges presented by the global COVID-19 pandemic, we are close to finalising a strong broadcast calendar of events including multiple tournaments outside of the PSA World Tour.

"In this light, we are pleased to kick off 2021 with the AJ Bell England Squash Championships tomorrow in partnership with England Squash, followed by the CIB PSA Black Ball Squash Open next month.

"They will be the first of a series of tournaments that we will broadcasting via SQUASHTV this year and I look forward to announcing the full calendar until mid-July shortly."

SQUASHTV broadcasts every match from the PSA World Tour, with the organisation's rights-holders showing from the semi-finals and finals of major events.
