This new tournament is set to start tomorrow and conclude on Sunday (February 14) at the NFAA Easton Archery Centre in Yankton in the United States.

It is also filling the spot that the Vegas Shoot traditionally holds in the calendar, which has had its format changed for 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The amateur and junior competitions for the Vegas Shoot are now set to take place virtually, while the professional championship divisions have been delayed.

Recurve and barebow archers who compete at the Rushmore Rumble will have their scores for the first 60 arrows of competition automatically added to the final results list for the fourth stage of the Indoor Archery World Series.

Scores of compound archers will also be included, but they will be adjusted to fit with World Archery rules, using only the National Field Archery Association's two-centimetre ring to score 10 points.

This will be held alongside the online edition of the World Series.

A remote Indoor World Series Finals is then scheduled to take place on February 27 and 28.

At the last competition on the calendar - the Sud de France in Nimes - Dutch archer Steve Wijler defeated compatriot Gijs Broeksma in the men's recurve final while Germany's Lisa Unruh defeated The Netherlands' Gabriela Schloesser in the women's final.

In the men's compound, France's Jean Philippe Boulch defeated compatriot Adrien Gontier, while Estonia's Lisell Jaatma defeated her compatriot Meeri-Marita Paas in the women's final.
