During recent online meetings, FITEQ presented a roadmap that involves educating members on the sport's rules and classification regulations. 

FITEQ launched Para-teqball in March and has since updated members in online meetings on the development of the sport.

Education courses are expected for all stakeholders, as well as the development of a competition framework and the first Para-teqball category at the Teqball World Championships.

FITEQ sport director Matthew Curtain led the meeting and was joined by head of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and diplomatic relations Gergely Muranyi and sport development manager Reka Reichard.

Other topics discussed included National Federation development and CSR.

Over the past year, FITEQ's membership has risen from 55 to 110.

Seventy-one of the FITEQ's NFs have received recognition from the National Olympic Committee or Government.

FITEQ encouraged all NFs to continue to work hard to establish clubs, attract new players and ensure teqball is promoted as gender-equal and inclusive sport.

The governing body also updated members of the NF admin platform, which allows nations to create their own websites through FITEQ.

FITEQ also spoke about the launch of the global Table of Peace programme, which started recently, as well as the Sustainable Development Handbook, published earlier this year.
