The English Mixed Martial Arts Association (EMMAA) has announced plans to host an invitational tournament at the Arnold Sports Festival UK.

National governing bodies from the UK home nations and Ireland have been invited to compete at the event in the Birmingham NEC.

It will run from October 1 to 3 in a fighting arena certified by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF).

The aim of the event is to showcase some young and emerging talents in MMA.

Special guests and educational material is also promised to promote the development of the sport at amateur level.
