Russia’s Vitalina Batsarashkina and Artem Chernousov earned victory in the 10 metres air pistol mixed team competition at the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup in Osijek.

The Russian duo topped qualification for the event earlier in the day.

Batsarashkina and Chernousov triumphed in the final against India’s Manu Bhaker and Chaudhary Saurabh.

The Russians secured a 16-12 victory in the final.

Iran’s Golnoush Sebghatollahi and Javad Foroughi won bronze after a 17-7 success against India’s Yashaswini Singh Deswal and Abhishek Verma.

Russia missed out on gold in the 10m air rifle mixed team event.

Hungary’s Eszter Meszaros and Istvan Peni clinched victory by overcoming the Russian pairing of Yulia Karimova and Sergey Kamenskiy 17-13.

The second Russian team of Anastasiia Galashina and Vladimir Maslennikov won bronze, courtesy of a 17-11 win over United States’ Mary Carloynn Tucker and Lucas Kozeniesky.

The women’s team skeet event saw Nadezda Konovalova, Natalia Vinogradova and Zilia Batyrshina triumph.


The Russian trio earned a 7-3 win over Italy’s Chiara Cainero, Chiara Di Marziantonio and Diana Bacosi.

Czech Republic’s Anna Sindelrova, Martina Skalicka and Barbora Sumova won the bronze medal.

The Czech team were 6-0 winners against France’s Coline Christene Heurtebize, Lea Richard and Noemie Battault.

The final gold medal of the day was won by the Italian men’s skeet shooting team.

Tammaro Cassandro, Domenico Simeone and Gabriele Rossetti were 6-4 winners against the Czech Republic’s Tomas Nydrle, Daniel Korcak and Jakub Tomecek.

Germany’s Sven Korte, Vincent Haaga and Tilo Schreier won bronze with a 6-2 win over Greece’s Ioannis Gkogkolakis, Nikolaos Mavrommatis and Efthimios Mitas.
