Sofia dalle Rive has been named the new digital ambassador of Milan Cortina 2026.

The 19-year-old TikTok influencer won 53 per cent of the final vote in the Ambassador Challenge.

The challenge promotes sport and its values through those who make digital communication.

It pit 16 influencers against one another in a series of Olympic and Paralympic themed social tests.

Dalle Rive, who has almost two million followers on the social media app, beat Alice de Bortoli in a digital relay in which the pair had to find 10 supporters each to support them in the race to the finish line.

Olympian Francesca Dallapè, actress Anna Valle and chef Lorenzo Cogo all joined in the support for dalle Rive.

Singer Roberta Branchini was named the first digital ambassador of Milan Cortina 2026.

All participants have the task of involving everyone, especially the youngest, in the great project of the Italian Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

Milan Cortina 2026 beat a joint bid from Swedish cities Stockholm and Åre by 47 to 34 votes at the 134th Session of the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland, in June 2019.
