The Organising Committee of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games has invited the public to join a Team USA Fan Council, which will provide the organisation feedback on various topics.

A small group of people will be selected and then asked to provide their input by participating in brief surveys.

"We want to hear from EVERYONE," LA28 said in an email inviting some of those selected to take part.

"Whether you’re a die-hard Olympic & Paralympic fan or just a casual observer, your opinion matters to us."

Surveys should not take more than five minutes to fill out, with the feedback helping organisers to make new creative programmes and messages across digital and social media, it is promised.

This input will also relay information back to relevant sponsors.

An 18-person Athletes' Commission for the 2028 Games was launched last month, designed to provide strategic advice for athlete services and experiences in advance of the Olympics and Paralympics.

The Athletes' Commission will also create development opportunities to support athletes outside of their sporting careers, LA28 says, and engage with local and global fans in the lead-up to the event.
