Turkey has confirmed its place in the 2021 Women's EuroVolley round of 16 after a convincing win over the Netherlands.

The Turks defeated their opponents in convincing fashion 3-0 to become the first team of the tournament to win all five pool games.

They have only dropped one set so far.

Co-hosts Croatia beat Hungary 3-1 in Zadar as they became the outright leader of Pool C.

The country is set to play second-placed Italy in the next match in a contest that will decide top spot.

Finland and Slovakia both recorded comeback victories as they overcame Romania and Switzerland, respectively, with 3-1 scorelines.

It marked the first wins of the tournament for both countries.

Elsewhere, there were four more whitewashes.

After a gruelling first set, Bulgaria comfortably beat the Czech Republic on its home ground in Plovdiv.

The result means that the team sit second in Pool B just two points behind leaders Poland.

Serbia maintained its perfect record in the championship as the country registered another 3-0 win.

This time it came against Azerbaijan whose record is the exact opposite of Serbia's as they are yet to pick up a set in any of their matches.

Belgium leapfrogged Russia to occupy second place in Pool A after a 3-0 triumph over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Germany condemned Greece to a fifth and final loss in the tournament putting them bottom of Pool B.

The Greeks fought hard but Germany's power helped them pull off a 3-0 win.

Pools B and D will be concluded tomorrow.

Poland play Bulgaria in the game of the day to decide the winner of Pool B.
