Erickson Metals Corporation, an international supplier of aluminium products, has signed on as an official supplier of USABS and its teams through to 2024.

"You can’t buy bobsled or skeleton parts in a hardware store, so we need our sleds to show up to a venue in race ready condition," said USABS driving coach Brian Shimer. 

"That means we need our crates to protect our equipment as they travel long distances, and we rely on the aluminium provided by Erickson Metals Corporation to build the strongest crates."

Erickson Metals chief operating officer Robert Stiles said the company was "thrilled to continue our partnership with the USABS team to help support the strength and skill of these incredible athletes".

USABS has recently signed sponsorship deals with several companies, including Lincoln Electric, FocusCalm and Reign Total Body Fuel.

The governing body also retained its agreement with Thorne, a health and technology company.
