Three-athlete shortlists have been announced for the impairment categories at Austria's Athlete of the Year awards.

Alpine skiers Markus Salcher and Veronika Aigner respectively won the men's and women's awards in 2020, and there will be new victors this year with neither making a shortlist.

Natalija Eder, Janina Falk and Carina Edlinger comprise the women's shortlist.

Eder won F13 javelin and F12 shot put bronze medals at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

Falk competed in the swimming pool at Tokyo 2020, while Edlinger - who has a visual impairment - won a fourth Para Nordic Skiing World Cup crystal globe this year.
