This month's United Through Sports World Virtual Youth Festival will be broadcast by the Olympic Channel.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) network will again show the event which is due to be held between November 20 and 27.

Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh is organising the Festival, which has the aim of increasing youth participation in sport while reducing inactivity, as well as encouraging positive life skills and values.

Everyone under 18 is invited to enter with organisers hoping to attract more than 30,000 children.

They will compete in five events - max fit, aero fit, talent, International Paralympic Committee (IPC) inclusive challenge and Special Olympics unified fitness challenge.

More than 100 international and national sporting governing bodies, as well as other affiliated organisations, will be involved.

Workshops and panels with more than 60 contributors from the world of sport will be held.

IOC President Thomas Bach, IPC President Andrew Parsons and Special Olympics chief executive Mary Davis are among those who will deliver welcome messages.

The festival is again being celebrated as part of United Nations World Children's Day.

The Opening and Closing Ceremonies will see "youth of all abilities from around the world standing in solidarity towards a better tomorrow".
