Argentina and Spain's men's and women's teams eased into the semi-finals at the International Padel Federation World Padel Championships without dropping a set.

The first men's quarter-final featured Argentina, who have won the last three Championships, and they thrashed Paraguay 3-0 at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in the Qatari capital Doha.

Brazil will be their semi-final opponents as they overcame Chile 3-0.

Spain were the only team to progress through the round-robin stage without losing a set in the men's competition, and they continued their scintillating form with a very comfortable 3-0 victory against Italy.

Semi-final opponents France were made to work harder for their win against Uruguay, being taken to a decider before triumphing 2-1.

In the women's competition, Argentina proved far too strong for Germany with three emphatic wins.

Italy await in the last four after they came from behind to see off Brazil.

Defending champions Spain dropped just four points as they eased past Belgium.

France stand between them and another appearance in the final as they progressed with three straight-set victories against Mexico.

In the ninth to 16th ranking matches, hosts Qatar were beaten 3-0 by Britain in the men's Championship, and their opponents will face Germany next after they overcame Denmark by the same scoreline.

Poland and Belgium were the day's other winners, progressing past Mexico and the United States respectively.

Uruguay dispatched Chile 3-0 in the first women's positional match, with The Netherlands also easing past Japan.

The US notched a 2-1 victory against Britain, and so too did Paraguay against Denmark.

There are two days remaining at the World Padel Championships, which concludes on Saturday (November 20).
