Hunter Holloway led an all-American podium at the Longines International Equestrian Federation Jumping World Cup in Las Vegas, riding Pepita Con Spita to win her first FEI Jumping World Cup.

Holloway was one of only two riders out of six to produce a clear jump-off round, powering round in 37.77sec.

Natalie Dean riding Chance Ste Hermelle finished second, jumping clear in 40.83, while Laura Hite onboard Calypso van de Zuuthoeve finished third, jumping clear in the first round, the first of her World Cup career, before recording the best time with one hurdle knocked down in the jump off.

"That mare is super consistent going quick, and the faster she goes, the better she is," Holloway said.

"So, I was always going to go for it.

"That was my plan from the start with her, to give it my best go."

On Pepita Con Spita, Holloway was glowing, adding: "Building a relationship with her has been awesome.

"She's a sensitive type of mare that gets better and better with each class in each year.

"She's been a fantastic horse to bring along.

"Hopefully she'll be a team horse for the future, so that's something we'll look forward to."

Ireland's Conor Swail, who had sat atop the North American League (NAL) standings earlier in the season, regained top spot in the NAL, despite not making the jump-off and finishing 11th.

Tiffany Foster of Canada is one point behind in second and Dean moved into third with the victory, amassing 41 points on the season.

The NAL continues on December 18 in Fort Worth.
