Austria's Marita Kramer achieved the top scores in both rounds to win the women's International Ski Federation Ski Jumping World Cup event in Klingenthal.

Kramer had led qualification yesterday and maintained her level of performance at the Vogtland Arena.

She achieved a distance of 133 metres with her first effort on the large hill, before a second round effort of 124.5m.

The efforts saw Kramer rewarded with an overall score of 247.9 points.

Kramer was able to celebrate her third win in five events this season, following triumphs in Nizhny Tagil and Lillehammer.

She had been pushed close by Norway’s Sijle Opseth, who narrowly missed out on a maiden World Cup victory.

Opseth achieved distances of 133.5m and 123.5m across the two rounds, finishing the competition with a score of 245.3.

Slovenia’s Urša Bogataj secured her third podium finish of the season by placing third on 237.5.
