The Senayan Shooting Ground in Indonesia's capital Jakarta is set to stage the next leg of the International Shooting Sport Federation's (ISSF) Grand Prix, with competition set to be held over 10 metres, 25m and 50m in rifle and pistol.

A total of 88 athletes from nine nations are on the start list for the event, which is due to run from tomorrow until February 17.

Men's 25m rapid fire pistol Olympic champion Jean Quiquampoix is one of two French competitors due to compete, with the other being Clément Bessaguet, a team gold medallist in the 25m standard pistol at the World Championships in 2018.

Russia's athletes dominated the opening two Grand Prix of the season, both of which featured only 10m competition in Ruše and Osijek.

It was the only country which won more than one gold medal with its four titles in the first event in the Slovenian town, and it took three of the 10 on offer in Croatia.

However, it is not taking part in Jakarta.

Competition is due to begin tomorrow with medals set to be decided in the men's and women's 10m air rifle disciplines on Thursday (February 10).

This is to be followed by the individual air pistol events from the same distance and the 10m mixed team air rifle event on Friday (February 11).

The mixed team 10m air pistol and men's and women's team finals in both disciplines are scheduled for Saturday (February 12).

Medals over the longer distances are set to be settled from Monday (February 14), starting with the men's 50m rifle three positions and the women's 25m pistol.

The 50m rifle three positions finals in the women's individual and men's and women's team competitions are set to take place on February 15, with the mixed team final held the next day.

Finals in the men's 25m rapid fire pistol and women's 25m team pistol are also on the calendar for the penultimate day, before the Grand Prix concludes with the men's team and mixed team 25m rapid fire pistol.

The next scheduled ISSF event after Jakarta is the World Cup in rifle and pistol in Egyptian capital Cairo from February 26 to March 8, with the World Tour Target Sprint Egypt set to be held in parallel until March 5.
