The Thais' best result of the day came in the men's 25 metres rapid fire pistol, with compatriots Schwakon Triniphakorn and Ram Khamhaeng fighting a tense final.

Triniphakorn narrowly edged the encounter with a 16-15 victory, whilst Singapore's Swee Hon Lim finished third.

The next two events, the mixed team 50m rifle three positions and women's team 25m pistol, saw Thailand pick up three more medals.

Thailand’s Jayden Jitrawee Mohprasit and Napis Tortungpanich lost 16-8 to the Indonesian duo Diaz Kusumawardani and Fathur Gustafian in the mixed team event.

Nevertheless, Thailand's second team, consisting of Thanyalak Chotphibunsin and Thongphaphum Vongsukdee, took bronze in the same category.

They defeated Indonesia’s Vidya Rafika Rahmatan Toyyiba and Davin Rosyiid Wibowo 16-12 to claim the medal.

Another silver medal followed for Thailand with the trio of Tanyapom Prucksakorn, Chidchanok Hirundphoem and Natsara Champalat falling short in the women's team 25m pistol final.

The final ended 17-11 after the Singapore trio Shun Xie Teo, Xiu Hong Teh and Ling Chiao Nicole Tan successfully put daylight between themselves and the opposition.

Meanwhile, the bronze-medal match finished 17-9 in Indonesia’s favour.

Eva Yulianti Pratiwi, Talitha Judith Almira and Carlelis Manusama held off the Malaysian team consisting of Alia Sazana Azahari, Pei Chin Bibiana Ng and Dina Batrisyia Binti Adi Azhar to take the medal.

Hosts Indonesia finished top of the medals table with six golds, eight silvers and two bronzes.

Singapore came in second with six golds, two silvers and eight bronzes and Thailand in third with four golds, six silvers and five bronzes.

Fourth was secured by Malaysia, who took medal of each colour, whilst Romania's sole gold medal meant they finished fifth.

Without a gold medal, Bangladesh finished bottom with one silver and four bronzes.
