Austria's Magdalena Egger has concluded the International Ski Federation (FIS) Alpine Junior World Ski Championships with five medals, including three golds, to leave her country top of the overall medals table in Panorama in Canada.

Egger's first victory came on the opening day when she triumphed in the women's downhill event in a time of 1min 28.33sec.

Germany’s Emma Aicher picked up her first of three silvers by finishing 0.13 seconds behind Egger.

The United States' Lauren Macuga won the bronze medal.

Egger followed her victory with another in the super-G on day two in 1:08.34.

America’s Ava Sunshine Jemison came second, while Austria’s Victoria Olivier secured the bronze.

Egger followed up her back-to-back victories with two silver medals in Alpine combined and team parallel.

The 21-year-old was 0.37 seconds behinds France’s Marie Lamure in 2:03.73, with Switzerland's Aline Hoepli third.

In the team parallel final, Egger’s Austria lost to Canada, while Switzerland snatched bronze.

After a disappointing slalom, where Egger finished 15th, she closed off her competition with a gold in the giant slalom.

She recorded a time of 2:31.02, 0.22 seconds faster than Aicher.

Croatia’s Zrinka Ljutić won the bronze medal.

Aicher’s earned a third silver medal n the slalom, where she finished 0.84 seconds bhind Ljutić in 1:39.88, with Sweden’s Moa Bostroem Mussener third.

In the men’s competition, Italy’s Giovanni Franzoni and Norway’s Alexander Steen OIsen were two stars of the competition as they won four golds and a bronze between them.

Franzoni started the competition with a victory in the downhill event, as Franjo Von Allmen and Germany’s Luis Vogt finished second and third.

In the super-G, Isiah Nelson performed the best with a time of 1:06.57, finishing ahead of Allmen and Franzoni.

Franzoni returned to the top of the standings in the combined, ahead of team-mate Marco Abbruzzese and Von Allmen, his third medal of the Championships.

Steen Olsen swept to the top of the podiums for the slalom and giant slalom during the final two days of competition

He successfully fended off Filippo Della Vite of Italy and Austria’s Lukas Passrugger, winner of a silver medal in the team parallel alongside Egger, in the giant slalom.

The 20-year-old Norwegian capped off the men’s competition with a dominating display in the slalom.

He finished more than a second ahead of Sweden's Ax Swartz in a race where Germany's Linus Witte took the bronze. 

It left Norway third in the medals table, behind Italy, who were second with a total of five medals with the Egger-powered Austria top with seven.
