Eleven teams have punched their ticket to next year's Men's Lacrosse World Championship at the European qualifier in Wrocław.

Wales, Switzerland and the Czech Republic earned places at the World Championship in San Diego in the most convincing fashion, winning all of their games to finish top of their respective groups.

The Welsh scored 59 points and conceded 15 - both tournament highs - on their way to topping Group A.

Latvia were second and Denmark third, with both rankings good enough for a World Championship spot.

Italy also scored 59 goals on the way to finishing second in Group B, behind the Swiss, while third-place Austria also advanced.

Pools A and B each had six teams, with just five in C and D.

This meant the teams from those pools played one from the other group to ensure each side at the event in Wrocław, host of the 2017 World Games where women's lacrosse was on the programme, played the same number of matches.

The clash between Norway and Finland, each third in their pool, was an effective playoff for the World Championship.

The Finns came from behind to win 4-1, thanks in large part to Robert Aleksi Raitila's brace, so are off to San Diego.

Hosts Poland finished second in Pool C, behind he Czechs, while The Netherlands won Pool D and Sweden advanced as runners-up.

England, Germany, Scotland, Ireland and Israel - all European Lacrosse Federation members - had already qualified for the World Championship through their performance at the 2018 edition.
