Ünal and Özyüksel led the way in the laser run with 12:46.30 on the clock, allowing them to leapfrog Germany's Dominik Olejarz and Janine Kohlmann into third place.

The UIPM World Cup is set to return from June 7 to 12 in Ankara in Turkey before the capital hosts the World Cup Final from June 22 to 26.
