Czech Republic’s Filip Nepejchal, Petr Nymbursky and Jiří Přívratský sealed the men’s 50 metres rifle three positions team title at the at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Changwon.

The trio defeated India's Chan Singh, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Sanjeev Rajput 16-12 in the final of the event.

In the bronze medal match, Australia’s Dane Sampson, Jack Rossiter and Michael Edward Andrew Davis combined to beat Japan’s Naoki Hanakawa, Atsushi Shimada and Masaya Endoh 16-2 to take bronze.

The women’s 25m pistol team saw Singapore’s Teh Xiu Hong, Teo Shun Xie and Teh Xiu Yi outscore Thailand’s Tanyaporn Prucksakorn, Pim-on Klaisuban and Chawisa Paduka 17-9 to claim the title.

South Korea’s Yoo Hyunyoung, Kim Lana and Han Jiyoung stormed to bronze following their 16-2 win against Japan’s Yukari Konishi, Chizuru Sasaki and Satoko Yamada.

Anna Janssen of Germany was victorious against Italy’s Barbara Gambero in the women’s 50m rifle three positions, with the gold medal match ending 16-10 in her favour.

India’s Anjum Moudgil totalled 402.9 in the ranking match to secure third.

Germany’s Florian Peter scored 295 in part one of the men’s 25m rapid fire pistol qualification to top those able to progress to the next round.

In the men’s skeet qualification, Italy Erik Pittini and Kuwait’s Abdullah Aldrashidi both tallied 74 to end the day with the highest scores.

The event is due to continue tomorrow.
