Antwerp secured their first International Basketball Association (FIBA) 3x3 World Tour victory of the season as they ended Ub Huishan NE's dominance in Debrecen.

The Belgian outfit clinched a 22-20 final win against the Serbians, who had won the first four legs of the season in Utsunomiya, Manila, Prague and Lausanne.

Thibaut Vervoort sent the crowd into raptures as he drained a two-point shot to take his side beyond the 21-point winning threshold.

Vervoort was inexplicably left unmarked and felt no pressure as he scored easily from beyond the arc.

Vervoort's nine points made him the final's top scorer but it was his team-mate Bryan De Valck who achieved the highest player value on 9.8 as he recorded five points, five rebounds and two highlights.

FIBA 3x3 World Tour action returns with the Montreal stop, scheduled to take place from September 3 to 4.

France Under-24s triumphed in the 3x3 Women's Series in Eaubonne as they beat Düsseldorf Zoos 21-16 in the final.

Noémie Brochant was crucial for the French as her five points, three rebounds and four highlights helped to secure victory in front of a home crowd in the Parisian suburb.

The haul meant that Brochant amassed the highest player value with 9.5.

Düsseldorf's Ama Degbeon was judged to be the next-best player as she dominated in the air with six points, eight rebounds and two highlights for an 8.3 player value.

Canada finished in the bronze-medal position as they scored more points per game than fellow semi-final losers Spain,19.0 to 17.8.

Come the Paris 2024 Olympics, the city-centre Place de la Concorde is due to host 3x3 basketball, rather than Eaubonne.
