That is unlike their opponents, Chile, who lost 2-0 to finalists Brazil.

The result meant Brazil concluded the group stage top of the standings after winning every match.

Egypt, who are due to fight the South American country for the title, ended this phase of the competition with a 2-0 win over The Netherlands.

The gold and bronze medal fixtures are scheduled to be held tomorrow.
