David Škorjanc was Slovenia’s best player of the night as they edged the first set 7-6 before recording a 6-2 victory in the second set to win the bronze medal.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands and India played out a thriller to finish fifth and sixth respectively.

The Europeans bagged the first set 7-5 before India fought back to make it 1-1 with a 10-3 victory in the second.

However, the Dutch triumphed 2-0 in the five-minute tie breaker to seal the match.
