A maiden teq table has been planted in the Czyżyny district of Kraków, the Polish city which is set to host teqball's European Games debut next year.

Implemented as part of the city's civic budget, the table is located in a housing estate in Czyżyny.

Teqball is one of 25 sports on the programme for the Kraków-Małopolska 2023 European Games, the third edition of the multi-sport event.

Teqball was invented in Hungary and is played on a curved table combining elements of football and table tennis, and Poland is among the world's leading nations.

It hosted last year's World Championships in Gliwice and provided men's singles and mixed doubles medallists at this year's event in Nuremburg.

Men's and women's singles and doubles and mixed doubles are all due to be on the programme for Kraków-Małopolska 2023.

The 2023 European Games are scheduled to take place from June 21 to July 2, with Poland joining Belarus and Azerbaijan on the list of hosts.
