Track, road, mountain bike and BMX freestyle cycling are all due to take place in Queensland between March 19 and April 2, with Rotorua set to host BMX racing on April 16.

A combined format for the Oceania Championships debuted last year, with the majority of the disciplines taking place in Australia this year.

Recently, Brisbane has held the International Cycling Union (UCI) BMX Freestyle World Cup, track cycling at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, a round of the UCI Track World Cup, the Tour de Brisbane and the Australian Track National Championships since 2017.

Track, road, BMX freestyle and mountain bike cross country are all to be held in Brisbane, while Toowoomba is scheduled to host the Mountain Bike Downhill Championships.

"The UCI and Oceania Cycling Confederation are delighted to welcome the Oceania Championships back to Brisbane and Queensland in 2023," said Oceania Cycling Confederation President Tony Mitchell.

"The inaugural combined Oceania Championships this year were a huge success, with our regions leading athletes in action across three weeks of exciting competition.

"The Oceania Cycling Confederation extends its thanks to the Queensland Government via Tourism and Events Queensland and AusCycling for again hosting the Championships."

The BMX racing competition is to take place in Rotorua as part of a shared hosting agreement between Australia and New Zealand.

Mountain bike cross country is scheduled to be the first event of the Championships on March 19, followed by track - including Para track cycling - from March 24 to 28.

During that time, BMX freestyle is scheduled for March 26, with road racing set to take place on March 31 and April 1.

Mountain bike downhill in Toowoomba is set for April 1 and 2.
