World champion Ragettli triumphed in the second men's slopestyle event of the season after scoring 79.08 points on his first run on the Laax Open slopestyle course.

Olympic champion Alex Hall of the United States placed second with 76.81, and Norway's Birk Ruud followed up a victory in Stubai in November with a third place finish, scoring 75.63.

Ragettli's win was the 11^th of his World Cup career, drawing him level with Ruud for the all-time record.

He holds a 20-point lead in the discipline over Ruud, moving onto 180.

"It’s super special to be able to get my 11th World Cup win here in Laax," Ragettli said.

"This is where I learned to do my first 360, my first backflip, and to get the win here with family and friends watching is just amazing."

Weather has disrupted competition in Laax in recent days, with the halfpipe finals on the Snowboard World Cup cancelled yesterday.

More bad weather led to the cancellation of the women's finals today.

Killi made it two slopestyle wins from two on the World Cup after leading the way in qualifying with 85.65.

Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic champion Sarah Höfflin of Switzerland was second with 81.53, followed by France's Tess Ledeux with 80.21.

Killi extended her overall lead in the discipline to 80 points, moving on to 200 compared to the 120 of Höfflin.

Laax also held the first slopestyle event of the Snowboard World Cup season today.

Olympic champion Zoi Sadowski-Synnott of New Zealand got off to a fine start in the women's event, scoring 81.30 to claim victory.

Britain's Mia Brookes earned her first World Cup podium by finishing second with 79.91, while Austria's Anna Gasser placed third with 77.05.

World champion Marcus Kleveland of Norway triumphed on the men's side with 83.61 points, followed by the US' Dusty Henricksen with 82.46 and Sweden's Sven Thorgren with 80.23.

Mammoth Mountain in California is set to stage the next men's and women's slopestyle events on the FIS World Cup circuit - February 3 on the snowboard circuit and February 4 for the freeski.
