Big air Olympic champion Birk Ruud of Norway scored 94.80 points to claim the men's slopestyle title at the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) Freeski World Cup in Mammoth Mountain.

The 2019 slopestyle World Championships silver medallist won the title in the United States, with his best score coming in the first attempt.

Compatriot Sebastian Schjerve won the silver medal, after posting a score of 93.40.

The bronze medal went to Andri Ragettli of Switzerland, who finished with 92.80 points.

For the hosts, Mac Forehand missed a spot on the podium by 0.80 points and finished fourth eventually.

Canadian Noah Porter Maclennan completed the top-five, with a total score of 91.

Meanwhile, Johanne Killi ensured that Norway secured a gold in the women's slopestyle as well.

That was 1.80 points better than Britain's 18-year-old Youth Olympic Games silver medallist Kirsty Muir.

Andrews was however 12.20 points behind Muir.

The fourth and fifth sport also saw low scores.

China’s Ruyi Yang and Norway’s finished fourth and fifth with 50.20 and 32.60 points respectively.
