Denmark sealed their place at the top of Group A with a 4-1 victory over five-time winners England at the Complexe Sportif Régional in the French commune.

Anders Antonsen got Denmark off to a flying start with a 21-9, 21-16 triumph against Harry Huang.

Line Kjærsfeldt doubled Denmark's lead when she came from behind to edge Freya Redfearn 21-12, 22-24, 21-18 before Rasmus Kjær and Frederik Søgaard overcame Callum Hemming and Ethan van Leeuwen 21-11, 21-14.

Denmark made it 4-0 when Maiken Fruergaard and Sara Thygesen downed Chloe Birch and Lauren Smith 21-16, 16-21, 21-15 before Gregory Mairs and Jenny Moore got England on the board with a 18-21, 21-9, 21-14 win over Mathias Thyrri and Amalie Magelund.

It was the Danish team's third victory in Group A after defeating Scotland 4-1 and Ukraine 5-0.

England also advanced to the last four after sealing second spot and are now due to face Denmark for a place in the final.

The other semi-final will see hosts France take on Germany after finishing first and second respectively in Group B.

The group was decided in the final match with France thumping Germany 5-0.

Christo Popov got the French team off the mark with a 21-12, 21-9 triumph against Kai Schaefer before Qi Xuefei made it 2-0 after overcoming Yvonne Li 20-22, 21-14, 21-15.

This was followed by two more three-game matches as Lucas Corvee and Ronan Labar defeated Marvin Seidel and Jan Colin Voelker 18-21, 21-16, 24-22 before Margot Lambert and Anne Tran claimed a 21-13, 19-21, 21-14 win over Stine Kuespert and Emma Moszczynski.

Victory was then wrapped up when Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue saw off Jonas Ralfy Jansen and Linda Efler 21-15, 21-14.

France's latest success came after beating both The Netherlands and Bulgaria 4-1.
