Ukrainian Taisiia Onofriichuk has dominated in the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix in Marbella with three titles.

The 14-year-old topped the standings in the all-around, hoop, and ball competitions at the Palacio de los Deportes Elena Benitez in Spain.

She denied Lara Manfredi the gold medal in the all-around and hoop as the Italian had to make do with silver.

Manfredi also finished as the runner-up in the clubs discipline, with Onofriichuk's compatriot Kateryna Tsema winning while another Italian in Sasha Mukhina took bronze.

Italy's only gold medal came courtesy of Gaia Mancini in the ribbon contest as she bettered Tseme and Spain's Blanca Soto.

The final medals table saw Ukraine top it with ease on four golds and one silver while Italy's one gold, three silvers, and one bronze put them second.

Territorial Delegate of Tourism, Culture and Sport of the Board of Andalusia Gema del Corral Parra was present at the event to present medals.

Deputy Councillor of Sports of the City Hall of Marbella Manuel Cardeña Gómez, Lieutenant Mayor of Marbella Javier Garcia Ruiz, and Andalusian Gymnastics Federation President Angelo Madroños Folpini also performed the honours.

The next FIG Grand Prix is set to take place in the Parisian commune of Thiais from April 8 to 9 in France.
