The Brazilian Taekwondo Confederation (CBTKD) has taken a team of athletes across Europe as part of its Radar 2028 project.

Fighters took part at the Dutch Open in Eindhoven earlier this month and will also train in Paris.

On March 18 and 19, they will compete in the Belgian Open in Lommel.

Radar 2028 was launched in March last year to identify Brazilian taekwondo athletes who could compete at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Gabriel Turibio, Luiz Felipe Aquino, Bryan Erkmann and Larissa Rossi are the athletes on the trip following evaluation at national and international competitions.

Reginaldo do Santos is the coach in charge of the tour.

Athletes between the ages of 18 and 20 will be targeted and monitored under Radar 2028, as the CBTKD believes promising athletes in this group are getting "lost".

Brazil has won two Olympic medals in taekwondo, including a bronze on home soil for men's heavyweight Maicon Siqueira at Rio 2016.
