Brazil's volleyball teams are set to prepare for the Paris 2024 Olympics in the Moselle department in eastern France next year.

Regional publication La Semaine reported that an official signing ceremony with the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) is due to be held on Friday (April 21) to enable its men's and women's teams to use Moselle's facilities.

A CBV delegation made a recent trip to Metz to visit facilities that could be used for training.

Beach volleyball players are also set to benefit from the agreement, as well as Brazil's under-21 and under-19 teams.

In Moselle, 103 communities have signed up for the Terre de Jeux 2024 label for their commitment to promoting the Olympics and Paralympics.

The department has already signed an agreement with the Philippine Olympic Committee to enable the country's athletes to use facilities in Metz in the build-up to Paris 2024.
