The European University Sports Association (EUSA) has appointed a sports officer and media coordinator.

Hungarian Ezster Gulyas has been named as the association’s sports officer, with Salvatore Sisca, who is Italian, appointed as its media coordinator.

Gulyas has volunteered at multiple European Universities Games and several EUSA Championships, and also has experience working within the medical team at World Aquatics, European Aquatics and International University Sports Federation events.

Gulyas joins from Semmelweis University in Budapest, where she worked at the university’s medical centre, after studying pharmacy at the institution.

Sisca, who played volleyball for almost 20 years joins the EUSA from CUS Milano, a university sports centre based in Milan, Italy.

Sisca worked at CUS Milano for five years as communication manager for the University of Milano-Bicoccia section.

In a statement the EUSA said: "We are extremely happy and proud to have received two great young people, and we welcome them to our team!"
