The opening game is scheduled for August 31 at the Tianmu Stadium in Taipei City, and is due to feature the hosts, last year’s runners-up and world ranked number four side Chinese Taipei. 

The first full day of competition is set for Friday September 1, with the final due to be held on Sunday September 10.

Taipei City will host one of the two groups, the super round and the finals.

Taichung City will host one of the groups and the placement round.

The United States will be defending champions, having won the title on home soil in Florida last year.

Taipei City is a modern cosmopolitan metropolis with a diversified landscape and is home to more than 2.6 million people.

Located in the Taipei Basin in the northern part, it is bordered by the Xindian River on the south and the Tamsui River on the west.

As baseball is the most popular among spectator sports, there are quite a few ballparks constructed throughout Taipei City.

Tianmu Baseball Stadium is the home of the Wei Chuan Dragons of the Chinese Professional Baseball League.

Built in 1999 and located in the Shilin District the stadium was the venue of the 2001 Baseball World Cup final and has a 10,000-seat capacity.

Taichung City is a special municipality and the second most populous city on the island, with over two million residents.

It is located in the Taichung Basin along the main western coastal plain.

The city's main baseball venue, the Intercontinental Stadium, is the home of the CTBC Brothers of the CPBL.

It has a 20,000-seat capacity and is located in the Beilun District.

The ballpark was inaugurated with the 2006 Intercontinental Cup.

Most recently, it was one of the 2023 World Baseball Classic venues and was also a popular host of the WBSC Premier12 2019.
