Teo Ser_Luck_11-10-11October 11 - Teo Ser Luck (pictured centre with International Olympic Committee President Jacque Rogge), Singapore's Minister for Trade and Industry, is leading a business mission to Nanjing, hosts of the 2014 Youth Olympic Games, to look at potential commercial opportunities.

Eleven companies from Singapore - host country of the first Youth Olympic Games last summer - are sending representatives to Nanjing.

The delegation will be looking to pitch services to organiers of the 2014 Games during the trip, which will also take in Shanghai and Lianyungang.

The Singaporean mission will help Nanjing to meet the objectives set out in its marketing plan, released earlier this year, which identifies tourism, logistics and financial services as areas in which they wish to capitalise on the expertise and experience of other companies.

The Nanjing 2014 Games will be the second Summer Youth Olympics and third Youth Olympics in all, following on from this January's Winter Games in Innsbruck, Austria.
