nanjing 2014_signature_wall_15-02-12February 15 - To celebrate the second anniversary of their successful bid to host the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics, youngsters and citizens of Nanjing, China have written on a special signature wall.

Young reporters and their parents were invited by Nanjing 2014 to publicise the event.

Two years ago Nanjing narrowly beat Poznan in Poland to win the right to host the Youth Olympics when the announcement was made in Vancouver, Canada during the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) 122nd session.

In total all 26 Olympic sports featuring at London 2012 will be part of the programme for Nanjing 2014, which runs from August 16 to 28.

Nanjing 2014 will be using 15 venues for the competition, with most of the action set to take place at the Olympic Sports Centre.

The first ever Youth Olympic Games were held in the summer of 2010 in Singapore, while the first ever Winter Youth Olympics took place in Innsbruck last month.
