September 24 - Huntingdon's Daniel Keatings (pictured) has continued his build-up to next month's World Championships in London with a bronze medal at the Champions Trophy Tournament in Berlin.

Keatings, 19, led the tournament after three rounds, however, a mistake on the parallel bars in the fourth and final round moved him down to bronze.

The prestigious competition attracts eight of the world's top all-rounders to participate in a four-match series, culminating in a final in Stuttgart in November.

The Berlin stage was won by home favourite Fabian Hambuchen, with Russia's Mazim Deviatovsky picking up a silver medal.

Keatings is now preparing for the World Championships in London, which open on October 13, with club-mates Louis Smith and Marissa King also selected for the British team at the O2 Arena.
