…insidethegames.biz are running a LIVE BLOG from the AIBA Men's World Championships in Ekaterinburg, Russia?

Our reporter Nancy Gillen has travelled to Ekaterinburg, which is in the middle of the Ural Mountain Range, to report on the 450 athletes from 87 countries bringing you all the latest news as-it-happens.

The LIVE BLOG starts today from the 5,000 seat Ekaterinburg EXPO arena and runs until the finals on Saturday 21st September.

This 20th edition of the AIBA Men’s World Championships is the 1st time that it has been held in Russia so you can be sure the LIVE BLOG will be exciting.

In this special edition, each National Federation has been invited to enter 8 athletes who will compete in 8 different weight classes from flyweight to super heavyweight.

Our LIVE BLOG covers all of the action from the 12 days of competitive fights and is updated constantly so you don’t miss a thing.

The official mascots are represented by 4 bears – Umnik, Lenivets, Malysh and Trener – who have been seen around the world promoting these World Championships, so will be sure to feature in the LIVE BLOG.
