Roberts missing as British Paralympic swimmers get first chance to test London 2012 pool

Dave Roberts_Athens_2004March 3 - Britain's top disability swimmers, including double Beijing 2008 Paralympic champion, have set their sights on securing qualification for London 2012 at the British Gas Swimming Championships which takes place over the next seven days but 11-time Paralympic champion Dave Roberts will miss the event at the Aquatics Centre through illness.

Sascha Kindred_2February 21 - Sascha Kindred, Britain's six-time Paralympic swimming champion, has admitted that he is still unsure about the events in which he wants to compete at London 2012 even though the British Gas Swimming Championships, which act as the Paralympics selection trials, take place in less than two weeks.





IPC launch new online swimming classification programme

Sascha Kindred_2December 13 - The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Swimming, in collaboration with their education partner the IPC Academy, have launched a new online programme designed to be the first step on a pathway for anyone considering becoming a classifier in the sport.
