New UK Athletics role could fit Coe

altSEPTEMBER 18 - Sebastian Coe (pictured) has ruled out the possibility of becoming the chairman of UK Athletics after he decided to accept an invitation to become the first head of FIFA’s ethics commission and because he does not want to be seen neglecting his duties of organising the 2012 Olympics in London.


UK Athletics to advertise key roles

 

altSEPTEMBER 29 - UK ATHLETICS is to officially advertise for a new chairman and chief executive in The Sunday Times this weekend. Odgers, a firm of headhunters, are leading the search for both roles, the closing date of which is October 23.



Coe helps UK Athletics launch new scheme

 

altJULY 20 - SEBASTIAN COE, the chairman of London 2012, today helped David Moorcroft, the chief executive of UK Athletics, launch a new plan designed to help raise standards in the sport.

 

The "Power of 10" has been conceived in association with Vero Communications, the company set up earlier this year by London's former spin doctor Mike Lee.
