Proposed by Olympic Solidarity and executed by the COA, the course was designed to give staff at sports organisations across the country an opportunity to develop and improve their management capacity.

The course was a mix of both classroom sessions and distance learning, where students were expected to read relevant books and materials, and develop case studies on their work.

"This is the first time the Argentine Olympic Committee organises this programme and for this we have worked with the ENARD (National Board of High Performance Sport) and continue to work next year using the experience of this first edition to optimise the proposal and improve the product," said Mario Moccia , secretary general of the COA.

"The professionalisation of human resources is a pending issue that has the Argentine sports.

"We want the best for our sport and our bodies.

"In this way we are working."

Victor Sergio Groupierre, assistant secretary of the COA, added: "After nine months ended a stage that has been very helpful not only for students but also for those who were in the teaching task.

"It is important for leaders or those who perform management functions in sports organisations that they are trained.

"The manager must be able to express what you are doing and know convincingly.

"It is how to give effective communication in our sports organisations."
